Serving programs to a hotel cable system
If you want to serve any sort of programming into a cable system, you'll have to deal with at least a couple of these:
- Programming- Planning what to show and associated content
- Schedules- Creating a schedule
- Ingest- Getting the content off the media and into the playout system
- Playout system- The device(s) to play the programming on the set schedule
- Transmission- Discussion of various hardware needed to get the signal from the playout server to the hotel's connection.
